The Centre for Music Research (CMR) is an educational-based research resource for the Tamazgha/North Africa music. The CMR focuses on delivering knowledge and expertise with a commitment to researching and publishing in its specialism. Particular areas of specialisation include twentieth-century North african musicology and performance practice as well as the psychology of music in general and the Amazigh music in particular. We are trying to build a strong record in collaborative and interdisciplinary research, but conceived research remains central to our culture and our success in attracting external funding. All academic activities in our institution covering various aspects to musci research such as music performance, composition, etc... The major research areas of interest include:

- Composition, Recording and Ethnomusicology
