HOW DO WE APPROACH QUALITY RESEARCH?
In implementing our approach to managing and assuring quality and maintaining
standards we:
All members of academic staff have responsibility for, and a contribution to make to, the quality of the student learning/research experience. Academic staff members play a significant role in developing research programmes as well as in the supervision and the assessment of students. They are responsible for the maintenance of academic standards in terms of setting of individual assessments within University regulations. This is to ensure the dissemination, implementation and enhancement of quality assurance procedures to promote consistency and encourages the identification and dissemination of good practice. The University administration plays a key role in ensuring that research centres quality assurance processes operate effectively and in taking an overview of their academic activities.
